The Hurricane Heat was held right after the Spartan Super and Spartan Sprint last Feb. 24 in Alviera. The racers had to run on volcanic ash spewed by Mt. Pinatubo in 1991, and while it was scorching hot and painfully dusty, it sure was worth it!
